Old Brea Chop House – Brea – November 2019 – Just Opened

Old Brea Chop House Steak

Old Brea Chop House, delivering a classic steakhouse experience with a modern twist, will soon open its doors in Downtown Brea. The restaurant, adjacent to the Brea Improv on the corner of Birch St. and Brea Blvd., will serve an amazing selection of steaks, seafood and libations in an inviting setting reminiscent of classic New York steakhouses while paying homage to historic “Old Brea,” the restaurant’s namesake. The restaurant construction began in April with plans to open this Fall.

The menu has been curated by a team of talented culinary professionals dedicated to bringing together the best of the best in steakhouse dining. The food offerings are diverse with something for everyone no matter their taste preferences or appetite size. In addition to classic steakhouse fare with a modern twist, the gorgeous scratch bar will offer timeless craft cocktails and an impressive list of wines by the glass, while the wine locker will boast a selection guaranteed to inspire even the most discerning oenophilia.

Spearheaded by passionate restaurateur Tony Fasulo, who has more than 35 years’ experience in the restaurant industry, including 20 years with Morton’s The Steakhouse, Old Brea Chop House will be an approachable yet upscale dining experience unlike anything offered in North Orange County.

“We are proud to open in the heart of Downtown Brea to share a memorable steakhouse experience with both locals and visitors of this vibrant community, which we are so happy to be a part of,” said Tony, Old Brea Chop House owner. “Our team has worked tirelessly to ensure we deliver on everything one should expect in a quality steakhouse experience; from the food and drinks to the service and atmosphere. Our goal is to make every guest feel special from the moment they enter, and we look forward to delivering on that promise very soon.”

The restaurant features an open kitchen and dedicated charcuterie station where artisanal meats and cheeses will be prepared to order. The menu will offer the very best locally sourced prime beef, with specialty cuts butchered in house and, to ensure the highest level of quality and freshness, Old Brea Chop House has partnered with local vendors including Anderson Seafoods and Melissa’s Produce.

Designed by the talented Hatch Design Group whose restaurant portfolio includes Water Grill South Coast Plaza, the restaurant blends old-world charm with contemporary accents, marrying classic elements like exposed brick, featuring photos of historic Downtown Brea, and big, comfy booths with modern lighting fixtures and bold accent walls.

Fasulo continued, “We are so impressed with the gentrification of Brea, which has made huge strides to become a dining and entertainment hub in the area. We are thrilled to continue building upon the progress and contribute to this lively community with the addition of Old Brea Chop House as a fine dining destination in North Orange County.”
