Stone Brewing, one of the most prolific names in craft beer, and newly minted hospitality collective Untitled Hospitality, are prepared to break ground on the Stone Hotel – a 100,000 square foot, beer-centric specialty hotel that plans to buck convention in every sense of the word. Offering an all-encompassing Stone Brewing experience, the $26 million dollar build-out will feature a bar-style lobby, oversized guest rooms and custom designed furniture, all conceptualized and created by the venerable Southern California designer Paul Basile of BASILE Studio. Located directly across the street from the current Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens in North County San Diego, this hotel represents Untitled Hospitality’s first foray into hotel development, and as their flagship property, promises to challenge the status quo through bold design, exceptional amenities, interactive guest experiences, and familial service within a unique location.
You can’t rush a good thing. Originally announced in 2011, this project was put on hold for quite some time…until now. We’re partnering with San Diego-based hospitality collective, Untitled Hospitality to develop Stone Hotel. Just a short walk from the adjacent Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Escondido, the Stone Hotel will offer an all-encompassing experience with amenities to captivate craft beer enthusiasts and novices alike. Located on 13-acres directly across from Stone’s eclectic farm-to-table restaurant, the project design will be far from ordinary, offering a wide variety of unique guest experiences ranging from a bar-style lobby check-in to over-sized guestrooms, all in excess of 375 square-feet. Each of the 99 rooms and 6 suites will showcase details such as custom designed furniture and floor-to-ceiling window systems, which flip open to an expansive balcony, providing an open-air in-room experience. Stone Hotel’s event facilities will comprise of an 8,000 square-foot ballroom, a 10,000 square-foot rooftop garden located adjacent to the pool deck, as well as nearly an acre of outdoor event space. This one-of-a-kind concept is slated to open in the first quarter of 2018.
