Local restaurants Searsucker in downtown San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter and Herringbone in neighboring La Jolla resume operations and are now accepting reservations with reduced capacity. Herringbone is scheduled to reopen on Thursday, July 2 with Searsucker following the day after on Friday, July 3 ahead of the three-day holiday weekend. Both restaurants are portfolio brands of global hospitality company, Hakkasan Group, based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Searsucker’s culinary attitude takes a curious twist on classic Americana dishes. Start off the Searsucker menu with Nonna’s Turkey Meatballs made with marinara, ricotta, and basil before digging into the Ora King Salmon, accompanied by grilled broccolini sitting atop chimichurri.

Herringbone’s renowned “fish meats field” menu is anchored by its ocean-to-table concept of line-caught fish, fresh seafood, and fresh produce every day. Re-experience Herringbone with classic menu favorites such as the Seared Blackened Tuna with avocado cream, arugula salad, and wasabi peas, and the Chilean Seabass with haricot verts and roasted cherry tomato vinaigrette.

Happy hour and brunch at both establishments will resume during the re-opening week as well. Herringbone’s happy hour is scheduled daily from 4 to 6 pm and all night every Monday. At Searsucker, dive into our happy hour menu daily from 4 to 6 pm. Brunch at both restaurants will be available Saturdays and Sundays starting at 10 am. Both award-winning restaurants are offering delivery and pick up services through Postmates, starting on each restaurant’s re-opening date.

In line with government and health authority guidance for health and sanitation, both restaurants have moved to a paperless menu system via a scannable QR code from your phone, tables spaciously separated practicing social distancing and a rigorous cleaning plan will also be implemented.
