Bloomfield’s new cookbook, A Girl and Her Greens, boasts of “hearty meals from the garden” on its cover. It’s a vegetable-centric (but not vegetarian) collection of recipes inspired by Bloomfield’s childhood, chefs she’s worked for, and her restaurants. It’s a sequel – or perhaps more accurately, a companion – to her 2012 debut, A Girl and Her Pig. There’s also a third volume in the works, on fish and seafood.
