Jalapeño Bacon Popper Dip

Jalapeño Bacon Popper Dip is a creation of King’s Hawaiian, making irresistible, original recipe foods with Aloha Spirit since 1950. This dish is perfect for game day.

Ingredients:

4           Bacon strip – chopped into 1/4 inch cubes

2           Jalapeno – seeded and chopped

8 oz      Cream cheese – softened

9 oz      Ranch dressing mix

2 C       Cheddar cheese – grated

1 C       Sour cream

1          KING’S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet                      Round Bread

            Carrot and celery stick

            Cucumber round

            Cherry tomato

Directions:

  1. Step 1
  2. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  3. Step 2
  4. Cook bacon in a small skillet, over medium heat, until crisp, stirring occasionally. For last two minutes, add chopped jalapeño and cook until slightly softened.
  5. Step 3
  6. Remove bacon jalapeño mixture from the skillet with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  7. Step 4
  8. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, ranch dressing mix, cheddar cheese and sour cream until smooth. Stir in bacon/jalapeño mixture.
  9. Step 5
  10. Hollow out center of KING’S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Round Bread to create a bowl. Cut or tear center bread into cubes. Spoon mixture into the bread bowl and bake for 20 minutes. Serve dip with bread cubes and vegetables.
