Fueled by greater demand for its forward thinking, locally brewed craft beer,Beachwood BBQ & Brewing is expanding production with more tanks, fermenters and a larger team!
3 years since opening the Long Beach locations doors, Beachwood is excited to expand production with the addition of 3 single-batch fermenters and 3 bright beer tanks that are expected to yield an annual increase of 40%.“This new equipment allows us to increase annual capacity while simultaneously being able to grow the variety of available beers on tap at any given moment,”explains Beachwood Owner and Brewmaster Julian Shrago. “It’s my hope that fairly soon it will be common to see 15+ Beachwood house brewed-beers on tap at the brew pub.”
To inaugurate the new fermenters, Beachwood introduces a new, progressive Fermentation Vessel Series of beers—FV7 Pale Ale, FV8 IPA and FV9 Double IPA, which were released on February 3rd.
With a total of 3 brewers, 7 single-batch fermenters, 2 double-batch fermenters and 11 bright beer tanks, Beachwood will now be able to meet the demand from customers while continuing to produce high quality beer with the precision and innovation that Beachwood fans have come to appreciate.“We are so excited about the expansion and what this means for our small brewery. We have come a long way since our first production and I am excited to see what the future holds,”says Owner Gabe Gordon. Beachwood bottled brews are available exclusively in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego Counties.
