Compass GroupUSA, part of theleading foodservice management company, announced today that it will expand its policy of buying cage-free eggs.
This is a huge step forward in supporting a more humane way of egg farming and earned praise from The Humane Society of the United States’ president and CEO.
Previously Compass announced a policy to buy a portion of its eggs from farms that raise chickens in cage-free environments. Today, it announced an expansion of that policy to include the rest of the eggs it buys for meals such as scrambled eggs and omelets.
