The Hosen family have a cattle ranch in north Orange County. Every brewing day, Anaheim Brewery generates over 1,000 pounds of spent grain. Rather than send it to the garbage dump, Anaheim Brewery places it in reusable barrels, provided by the Hosens. The family picks up the barrels and feeds the brewing grain to their livestock.
Those cows have got it made. It’s always happy hour for the Hosen herd.
