The Flavor Expedition Recipe Contest is presented annually to celebrate the commercially ambitious chef, and recognize culinarians with a heart for distinctive flavor and craftsmanship—those who believe in uncompromised creativity.
The grand prize winner will receive $10,000 and a trip for two to one of five top U.S. culinary destinations: Atlanta, GA; Los Angeles, CA; Chicago, IL; New York City, NY; or Portland, OR. The prize package includes airfare, accommodations for four nights and a curated trend-spotting “food tour.” This immersive journey will provide exposure to the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of the food scene in the selected city.
To enter, operators must submit their original recipe at www.FlavorMeansBusiness.com before Friday, September 13, 2019. To qualify, recipe submissions must include at least one (1) qualifying Minor’s product from the list below:
- Classical Reductions™ Reduced Chicken, Brown or Vegetable Stock
- Any Farm to Label™ Gluten Free Base made with Natural Ingredients
- GreenLeaf™ Basil Pesto or Cilantro Pesto
Qualifying submissions must also include (a) recipe title; (b) recipe ingredients with amounts in common U.S. household measurement units; and (c) step-by-step preparation details including prep time, bake/cook time, oven temperature, equipment used and serving size/number of servings.
