Bruxie, creator of The Original Fried Chicken & Waffle Sandwich, has taken its concept international with the opening of a restaurant in Seoul, South Korea. With its headquarters based in Orange County, California, where it opened its first location almost 7 years ago, Bruxie’s 8th location is now open inside Seoul’s Lotte World Mall.
“International expansion has always been a goal of ours – there’s no denying the broad appeal of Bruxie’s original Fried Chicken & Waffle Sandwich,” explained Bruxie CEO Anthony Smith. “By identifying a great operator as our franchisee in South Korea, we have been able to replicate the excitement and energy that accompanied our U.S. debut in 2010.”
The domestic and international expansion for Bruxie is led by a management team with Chief Executive Officer Anthony Smith and Chief Financial Officer Scott M. Miller and Bruxie Founder & Chef Kelly G. Mullarney. South Korea locations are in partnership with franchisee Jae Jung of Bold 4 Ltd., who plans to open 10 Bruxie locations, with the next one opening in November 2017.
Bruxie in Seoul, South Korea is located at Lotte World Mall in the Songpa District (300 Olympic-ro, Sincheon-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea).
