Prego Ristorante in Irvine has enjoyed more than 3 decades of success and has a place in the hearts of many Orange County residents.
We purchased the restaurant in March 2009 and, with our son and daughter working at the restaurant, have come to make many special memories of our own in our beloved restaurant.
However, we know that the restaurant industry is cyclical and things must always evolve to meet the needs of guests and, along those lines, we know that Prego must also evolve to remain relevant in the culinary community.
This year, Prego’s lease was up for renewal, and we decided to pursue another location in Orange County. With nothing signed as of yet, we hope to announce a new location in the very near future, so that our loyal guests can continue to enjoy our cuisine.
With that said, we will be closing Prego Ristorante its doors on Sunday, February 26th.
We trust that the Irvine Company will bring in a restaurant to become a great part of the community.
We want to thank all of our loyal guests for being the driving force to help Prego Ristorante experience such a long and successful existence, and we hope that they will come join us for lunch or dinner, and say farewell before we close the Irvine location!
