PLANTLAB, previously known as Matthew Kenney Culinary, was created to meet the increasing interest in plant-based cuisine and the art of its preparation. It is the premiere educational platform and plant-based think tank providing consumers and like-minded businesses with high-quality content and inventive ideas in the culinary arts, education and wellness industries.

With US bases in Los Angeles and soon-to-be New York City’s SoHo neighborhood, PLANTLAB’s new and improved platform opens the doors for exciting and iconic chef partnerships and pop-ups nationwide, bringing education and resources to eager students and curious skeptics alike. Past pop-up locations have included international cities such as London, Barcelona, Paris, and Sydney.

Highlights of their curriculum include:

  • Chef training courses that range from 1-4 weeks in duration, full-time (Monday-Friday8am-2pm // or 3pm-9pm) **Courses vary in level of experience and focus on raw/cooked techniques, chocolate, pastries, superfoods, nutrition and more
  • Weekend workshops taught by guest instructors in Venice, California. Leisurely pace and open to the general public // great way to dip your toes into plant-based culinary (3-5 hours in length).
  • Upcoming international pop-ups in Berlin, Barcelona, London, Milan, Cartagena, and Toronto.
