The Halal Guys, NYC’s famous food cart, has created a strong brand presence and loyal following in Orange County, Long Beach, Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley since first opening a brick-and-mortar location in Southern California in 2015. The fast-casual Halal concept prides themselves on only using high-quality products like their chicken, which has never been frozen and is marinated and seasoned overnight, then cooked and chopped on the grill and served directly to the plate to ensure a crave-worthy meal that’s piping hot. Famously known for its famous white sauce, gyro sandwiches, and chicken-and-rice platters, The Halal Guys menu offers a mix of different American Halal dishes.
The next Southern California location to open, on Friday, July 7, will be at 510 W 7th St in Downtown Los Angeles. To celebrate the grand opening event the first 1000 guests in line at the Downtown Los Angeles location and the first 100 guests at all other Southern California location will have the opportunity to win prizes from The Halal Guys including 10 guests who will win free food from The Halal Guys for an entire month.
This summer will mark the opening of a Tustin location in the The District Shopping Center (2883 Park Avenue), followed by a West Hollywood location (8919 Santa Monica Blvd.) in the fall, and a Rowland Heights location in the Puente Hills Town Center (17416 Suite A Colima Road) is slated to open in late 2017. This is just the beginning of the Southern California expansion of the brand, as the franchisee signed a deal with Fransmart, a company known for building popular concepts like Five Guys, to open 50 franchised units throughout Southern California.
