Herringbone in La Jolla to Celebrate National Oyster Day All Week Long with $1 Oysters
SAN DIEGO, CA – July 30, 2020 – In anticipation of National Oyster Day on Wednesday, August 5, Herringbone restaurant located in quaint downtown La Jolla is celebrating the culinary holiday all week long with $1 Oysters. Serving delicious oysters farmed from the Baja California region of Mexico, the California Coastal Cuisine restaurant is offering the limited-time special nightly starting Sunday, August 2 through Thursday, August 6.
To pair the oysters with the perfect glass or bottle of wine, Herringbone has a selection of white wines available specially priced, including Los Morros, Sauv Blanc at $9 a glass, or $36 per bottle. Other wine offerings include:
- Soave Pieropan, 2017, for $10 per glass or $40 per bottle
- Muscadet, Guy Saget ‘Les Clissages d’ Or’, Loire Valley, France 2016, for $40 per bottle
- Melon, Lieu Dit, Santa Maria Valley, California 2018, for $14 per glass or $54 per bottle
Herringbone’s renowned “fish meats field” menu is anchored by its ocean-to-table concept of line-caught fish, fresh seafood, and fresh produce every day.
Herringbone La Jolla, located at 7837 Herschel Avenue, is open for dinner and happy hour 7 days a week and brunch on weekends. Herringbone’s hours of operation are Mondays through Thursdays from 4pm to 9pm, Fridays from 4pm to 10pm, Saturdays from 10am to 10pm, and Sundays from 10am to 9pm.
