Loews Boston Hotel and Precinct Kitchen + Bar Welcome New Executive Chef Travis Cintron

Executive Chef Travis Cintron

Loews Boston Hotel and Precinct Kitchen + Bar are pleased to welcome Travis Cintron as executive chef, overseeing all the culinary operations for both the hotel and restaurant. He will also be responsible for menu development, staff training and ensuring exceptional experiences for the restaurant, special events and hotel guests.

Cintron brings more than 20 years of culinary and hospitality industry experience to Boston. Most recently he served as executive chef at Lake Rabun Hotel & Restaurant in Lakemont, GA, where he oversaw the hotel’s culinary and catering operations and restaurant. Prior to that he was the executive sous chef at Loews Coronado Bay Resort and the sous/pastry chef at the Loews Hotel in San Francisco. His experience also includes banquet/sous chef at the Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco and chef roles at a number of independent restaurants in San Francisco.

At Precinct Kitchen + Bar, Cintron’s goal as executive chef is to make food that brings people together, in an environment where everyone is welcome at the table. He plans to create dishes that are seasonal and locally sourced from small farmers, fishermen, and foragers and work closely with the hotel’s Flavor by Loews Hotels partners. He is also developing an on-site herb garden, which he will incorporate into his dishes.

“We are pleased to welcome Executive Chef Cintron to our team,” said Robert Rivers, General Manager at Loews Boston Hotel. “He is committed to using local resources, sustainability and seasonality throughout his menus which aligns perfectly with our restaurant and hotel, and what our guests look for when dining with us.” “Our guests are already enjoying the new menu items Cintron has added and we can’t wait for them to try his new summer dishes debuting in a few weeks.”

Precinct  Kitchen + Bar is an approachable kitchen and bar focused on classic Boston cuisine, featuring one of the buzziest outdoor patios in Back Bay and most known for its creative popup experiences and large spaces for indoor and outdoor events. Housed in the historic Police Headquarters on Berkeley Street, the restaurant is a true celebration of Boston’s past and culinary future. This summer, Precinct Kitchen + Bar will feature boozy ice cream offerings from Tipsy Scoop and specialty cocktails from Aperol.
