Long Beach Exchange (LBX) is a dynamic, experiential retail and dining destination in development by the innovative retail developers at Burnham-Ward Properties. Located in East Long Beach within Douglas Park, Long Beach Exchange encompasses approximately 266,000 square feet of stores, shops, and restaurants on more than 26 acres, including two acres of communal open space for the public to enjoy. The Long Beach Exchange opened last year and continues to bring in exciting new restaurants and shops for the community.
More recently opened inside The Long Beach Exchange is The Hangar, a 17,000-square-foot structure reminiscent of an aviation hangar of the McDonnell Douglas/Boeing days long past when military and commercial aircraft were constructed on the site. The space is home to 14 small, artisanal food vendors and boutique retailers. Most of the food vendors are now open, with a few still perfecting their spaces.
