A museum and kitchen in Los Angeles is set to open in early 2019 that will celebrate the history of Mexican cuisine and its journey to Los Angeles. The museum is called La Plaza Cocina and will be a part of the larger project the LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, celebrating Mexican culture.
La Plaza Cocina will offer culinary programs and host chef pop-ups and events such as wine tastings and food festivals. It is likely that there will often be vendors outside the establishment, so guests can taste what they have learned about in the museum. Hopeful chefs can discover the secrets of Mexican cuisine and learn from professional chefs. There will be guest speakers as well as hands-on cooking classes.
