Original Grilled Cheese Truck Commences National Marketing of Franchises

Original Grilled Cheese Truck
The Original Grilled Cheese Truck, a gourmet chef-driven food truck and restaurant brand being rolled out nationally, announced today that it has commenced national marketing of the Company’s franchise program. The Company also announced a major milestone with the approval by the State of California of its franchise program. The franchise program will support the Company’s expansion plan for the Original Grilled Cheese Truck brand on a national basis. The Company was required to file a Franchise Disclosure Document which is a comprehensive legal document governed by both state and federal regulators that is given to potential franchise buyers that provides extensive business and financial information about the franchise opportunity to ensure a prospective franchisee can make an informed decision about a franchise purchase.
“We have now targeted 30 markets for franchise sales capitalizing on the success of this highly successful regional brand which has generated numerous awards and an extraordinary amount of press since its launch in 2009, including a recent award from Time Out LA for the #1 melt in Los Angeles” stated Al Hodges, Chief Executive Officer and President of the Company.
Mr. Hodges further stated, “The approval by the State of California is particularly relevant given the eight years of success the brand has achieved in Los Angeles, one of the country’s most competitive arenas of gourmet food truck culture and a fertile market for the sale of franchises.
The rollout of the brand calls for offering franchise opportunities through more food trucks, micro-retail, pop-ups, kiosks, food carts and brick-and-mortar restaurants. An important component of the Company’s franchise growth strategy will be providing first access and discounted franchise opportunities to our U.S. military veterans.
