Harry Morton, founder of Pink Taco was found dead in his home on Saturday, November 23rd. Initial reports have stated that the cause was undiagnosed heart disease, but an official autopsy is yet to be released.
Harry comes from a long line of men in the restaurant business. His father Peter Morton co-founded the Hard Rock Cafe franchise in 1971, and his grandfather Arnie co-founded Morton’s The Steakhouse restaurant in 1978.
Harry Morton was also a volunteer sheriff’s deputy at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s West Hollywood station and former owner of the Viper Room nightclub in West Hollywood.
This young entrepreneur will be missed by loved ones and by friends in the industry.
