Dine LBC Flyer

Organizers of Dine LBC – Long Beach Restaurant Week announced that registration is now open for restaurants wanting to participate in the annual citywide Restaurant Week taking place August 5 – 13, 2017.  Registration is $495 for individual restaurants with discounts available for multi-unit concepts. Deadline to register is June 30th.

“Dine LBC – Long Beach Restaurant Week is more than a nine-day event,” said Terri Henry, founder and organizer of Dine LBC.  “Since launching Dine LBC, we’ve been committed to supporting Long Beach’s valued restaurants with an advertising, marketing and PR campaign valued at over $500,000 that they could not afford on their own for the one-time $495 registration fee.

To sweeten the deal even further, Dine LBC is also offering participating restaurants that complete registration and submit payment by May 15th an opportunity to be part of a series of promotional videos promoting restaurant week.

Organizers are expecting more than 85 cafes, wine bars, gastropubs, upscale casual, and fine dining destinations to participate. Designed to increase sales and guest counts, participating restaurants offer a two or three course, value-oriented menu at a $15, $25, $35, $45, $55 or $65 price point. In addition, restaurants can also enhance their menus with wine/beer pairings and premium menu item options for a supplemental charge to the diner.  To promote a complete city-wide foodie experience, Long Beach food-centric businesses such as ice creameries, pie shops, wine shops, chocolate shops and bakeries are also invited to participate during the event by offering value-oriented Dine LBC specials during the event week at a registration fee of $195.

Dine LBC – Long Beach Restaurant Week is a non-ticketed event that takes place throughout the city’s many unique neighborhoods, including Belmont Shore, Naples, Belmont Heights, Cambodia Town, Bixby Knolls, Los Altos, Retro Row, Downtown and the waterfront.  Signal Hill, San Pedro and Seal Beach restaurants are also welcome to participate. Restaurants offer value-oriented, two or three-course menus at a fixed price and guests simply dine where they want throughout the week. Restaurants will also have their regular menus available.

This year’s sponsors include FreshPoint Produce, Press-Telegram, Long Beach Post, the SoCal Restaurant Show on Angels Radio AM830, Full Riot Productions, Great Taste Magazine, OpenTable and Long Beach CVB with more expected to sign on in the coming weeks.
