South Coast Plaza is pleased to announce that TERRACE by Mix Mix, a new restaurant with globally inspired cuisine by chef Ross Pangilinan, will open this September at South Coast Plaza.
Located on level 3 of the Crate and Barrel/Macy’s Home Store Wing, TERRACE by Mix Mix will focus on well-priced, market-driven small plates. The cuisine will showcase Pangilinan’s eclectic style, which is influenced by French, Italian, and modern Filipino flavors, as well as his refined technique. An approachable wine list will have varietals by the glass and bottle as well as rotating craft beers. True to its name, the restaurant will showcase full-service dining in a beautifully designed covered terrace off the west end of Bridge of Gardens. A small wine bar, additional seating, an open kitchen and a counter offering a weekday lunch quick-service menu will be inside.
“We are so pleased to welcome Ross to South Coast Plaza,” said Debra Gunn Downing, spokeswoman for the luxury shopping center. “His plans for TERRACE by Mix Mix align perfectly with the exciting evolution of our restaurant collection. His concept could not be more timely, as flavors and dishes inspired by Filipino cuisine continue to gain recognition and appreciation in the national culinary scene.”
