The partners behind Sgt. Pepperoni’s Pizza Store are pleased to announce a new location set to open in Irvine’s Campus Plaza in May 2021. For 45 years, the family-friendly restaurant has spread love through pizza with award-winning New York-style pies with a California twist.
“We’re working on some cool flavor profiles that aren’t traditionally found on pizza,” said Stan Frazier, Partner of Sgt. Pepperoni’s. “We’re looking forward to sharing our signature pies and unveiling new concepts in the Irvine community.”
The Irvine location will feature Sgt. Pepperoni’s full menu, plus a rotation of season specials and Irvine-exclusives. Known for its gourmet, hand-crafted pizza, Sgt. Pepperoni’s makes the pizza dough and sauce daily using the freshest, highest quality ingredients. Popular pies include the ‘Hawaii 5-0’ (pepperoni, pineapple, sweet New York ricotta, fresh garlic, and spicy pickled jalapeno) and ‘Meatball Ricotta’ (Stan’s meatballs, sweet New York ricotta, fresh garlic, mozzarella topped with marinara).
The new restaurant boasts a 2,500 square foot dining room and large patio with a hip and modern fast-casual ambience and subtle design accents paying homage to The Beatles. Catering to the UC Irvine community, the pizzeria will offer free wifi and a chill atmosphere to enjoy a slice while studying. Family-owned and operated, Sgt. Pepperoni’s also offers a fun family environment.
Located at 4533 Campus Dr., Irvine, CA 92612, the restaurant is the third location in Sgt. Pepperoni’s growing portfolio. In 2020, the pizzeria opened its second restaurant in the Aliso Viejo Town Center. Sgt. Pepperoni’s also operates a food truck with a pizza oven onboard for events and catering throughout Southern California.
Sgt. Pepperoni’s hosts regular fundraisers for local schools, sports teams and charities. The pizzeria also advocates for Julian’s LEGO Corner at CHOC Children’s Hospital, holding annual LEGO drives and fundraisers benefiting the initiative. A cause near and dear to Sgt. Pepperoni’s team, the restaurant donates all proceeds from Lauren’s Cookie to Julian’s LEGO Corner.
