Later this month, Congress will consider what is expected to be their final coronavirus response bill for 2020. Collectively we have made steady progress, but Congress needs to do much more for the nation’s second-largest private-sector employer.
The National Restaurant Association conducted a survey collecting the priorities many of you identified for federal relief. California Restaurants were heard! The National Restaurant Association’s Blueprint for Restaurant Revival for the industry has been released. It represents a strong, far-reaching plan for how Congress can advance restaurants in every city and town in this country.
This document gives Congress a roadmap for action – that calls for either enacting the proposed Restaurant Recovery Fund or implementing a targeted second-round of PPP for our industry – as well as other asks that will help you keep your doors open for the long haul, and serve your local communities. We need your support to bring this effort over the finish line.
Please view the “Blueprint for Restaurant Revival” and lend your voice to this campaign. Every voice counts!
