Acclaimed Barman opens Copa d’Oro in Santa Monica

Barman Vincenzo Marianella’s recently openedCopa d’Oro, a bar just steps away from the farmer’s market in Santa Monica. At Copa d’Oro, invention and versatility combine with refreshment as imbibers personalize and create their own signature cocktails first hand, blending spirit, herb, fruit and vegetable. A daily “Market Menu” presents the option to invent at will as cocktailiers choose from a vast list of farmer’s market ingredients. Divided into categories, Copa d’Oro’s menu features Fresh Herbs and Vegetables and Fresh Fruits and Berries, presenting ingredients ranging from savory to sweet, mild to spicy. Copa d’Oro’s interior evokes the Spanish colonial era, featuring rust colored leather bar stools, stone walls and hand-painted art. Copa d’Oro also features a “Happy Depression” menu offering 12 classic cocktails for $5 each in addition to discounts on food, wine and beer occurs daily from 5pm to 7pm. Copa d’Oro is located at 217 Broadway in the heart of Santa Monica. Doors open at 5pm Monday through Wednesday and close at midnight; Thursday through Saturday the hours are 5pm to 2am.
