However, the restaurant just added another feather to its gauchos’ fedora, voted Best Steakhouse by the popular TV Show “Best of LA.”

At Agora Churrascaria – Irvine, the place is 16th Century Brazil, when Gauchos – Brazilian cowboys of the country’s southern region – roamed os pampas, and created a new style of cooking. Called “churrasco,” this Gaucho-inspired cooking tradition refers to various cuts of meat cooked on skewers over an open fire pit.

Guests at Agora Churrascaria – Irvine are offered the churrascaria’s fixed-price menu, which includes a selection of the 16 finest steak, lamb, pork and chicken cuts, which the Gaucho waiters carve, tableside. In addition to the succulent meat selections, the restaurant offers an outstanding hot and cold salad bar, comprised of Brazilian and seafood specialties as well as a variety of tempting side dishes.

Agora Churrascaria – Irvine is located at 1830 Main Street (at the corner of MacArthur and Main) in Irvine. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm for lunch, and from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm for dinner. On Saturday and Sunday, Agora Churrascaria – Irvine is open from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
