and the Winner Is…Chef Art Gonzalez! of McKenna’s on the Bay

Congratulations McKenna’s on the Bay Chef Arthur Gonzalez for being the top chef at the “Top Dish” cook-off! The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach held a sustainable seafood cooking competition featuring four top chefs from around Southern California last month. The “Top Dish” cook-off celebrated the launch of the Aquarium’s new Seafood for the Future program. Each competitor had 20 minutes to create a great tasting dish using sustainable Alaskan Halibut for an esteemed judging panel. Judged on taste, creativity, and presentation, Chef Art Gonzalez’s dish of Alaska Halibut over pumpkin seed mole with blue corn spaetzle came out victorious!Congratulations Chef Art!
