It all Tasted Pretty Darn Good at the 2009 Taste of Huntington Beach celebration! Here are the results:

Best Dessert: Tomgirl Baking Co. Won Yee Tom has been a tradition at the Taste for a number of years. (714) 907-7513
Best Food Presentation: Duke’s (HB Pier and PCH) 714 374-6446
Most Enthusiastic: Lazy Dog Cafe (714)- 500-1140
Best Decoration: Suzanne’s Catering nabbed the top prize for its creatively presented strawberry concoctions. (714)960.9197
Best Wine: American Roots Winery of Napa, CA
Best Brew: Palm from Latis Imports
Best Event Chairman: Erika, owner of Erika’s Catering…voted by the rest of our committee…she won in every category including nice person.Newcomer Shorebreak Hotel (Joie de Vivre Hotels), debuting their Zimzala Restaurant rocked the house with their truffle risotto topped with braised oxtail, Executive Chef Jeff Littlefield presented his signature dish crab cakes which walked away with both the 2007 and 2008 Best Taste award. Other participants: Savannah at the Beach, Daphne’s Greek Cafe, Suzanne’s Catering, Fred’s Mexican Kitchen, Buffalo Wings N Things, Spark Woodfire Grill, Billy’s Naked Chicken Catering, Super Mex, Sandbox Sports Grill and some 40 other local eateries served up a feast. All proceeds benefited the Huntington Beach Children’s Library.
