Crow Bar & Kitchen, a Corona del Mar gastropub, just became the first GreenRestaurant in Orange County, certified by the Green Restaurant Association.
Some of the certification standards that Crow Bar implement include:
· Not using any Styrofoam, all of its to-go and take-home packaging are biodegradable and made from recycled materials.
· Only serving NATURA water. This is an environmentally-friendly alternative to the waste associated with the manufacturing, transporting and disposing of bottled water.
· The NATURA system is a countertop machine that triple-carbon filters and UV sterilizes water, which they then serve in reusable carafes.
