Kingyo Sushi – Offers New Menu, New Chef, and New $12 Lunch Special
Kingyo Sushi, a fine Japanese restaurant and sushi bar in Newport Coast Shopping Center, has a new Chef and newly expanded menus.
The new sushi chef, Sung Lee, was trained by a traditional style master, and offers updated sushi creations as well as traditional classics. Kingyo offers more than 60 different types of fresh sushi, sashimi and special rolls.
The restaurant also offers a new lunch menu with a variety of combinations featuring sushi and sashimi, tempura, or other entrees, accompanied with steamed rice, miso soup and salad, all for only $12.
The menu ranges from Tempura Appetizers to Char-broiled Tenderloin Steak grilled to taste and topped with Kingyo’s own teriyaki steak sauce. A variety of the finest Japanese Sake and wine are also featured, as well as more than 20 different hand-selected sakes, ranging from consistent to exotic.
