Matador Cantina is thrilled to announce the success of this week’s fundraiser for team member Cucu Agusto. The event raised a total of $20,277 for the long-time employee who is currently fighting brain cancer. 100% of all sales, as well as 100% of tips, individual donations, and proceeds from a raffle, were donated to a fund to help finance Agusto’s care.
Not only will the funds go toward helping finance Agusto’s ongoing medical treatment, but they will also pre-pay a year’s rent, cover food costs, and other daily expenses, ensuring that his wife and their two children will have a roof over their heads while he focuses on his battle with brain cancer.
