Khan Saab Desi Craft Kitchen, a Michelin Bib Gourmand award-winning 100% Halal eatery in Fullerton, has launched a fundraiser to support Pakistan flood relief, as more than one-third of the country is underwater. Every Tuesday through October 15th, the restaurant is donating 15% of all sales to help the victims, which have already numbered over 33 million people.
Founder and executive chef Imran “Ali” Mookhi is a Pakistani-immigrant himself, who came to the United States with the goal of elevating traditional Indian, Pakistani and Afghan cuisine alongside his team, many of whom are also immigrants of the Desi region. Innovative menu highlights include a Woodfired Bone-In Tomahawk steak of Australian wagyu beef, street food favorites such as Pomegranate Bhel Puri and Chili Roast Cheese Kulcha with Butter Sauce, and curries like the Shrimp Masala Curry with Black tiger shrimp, goan onion, and tomato. All proceeds from the fundraiser will be given directly to families in need. To make reservations or for more information, please visit KhanSaabOC.com.
