The BBQ sauce flowed, mesquite smoke billowed, and tummies were stuffed as a crowd of thousands gathered to support the “Phil’s Big BBQ at the Ballpark”event to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters’Operations Bigs program. On Monday, June 1st Phil’s BBQ hosted a huge tailgate party in the tailgate lot at PETCO Park and raised $38,973 which has been donated to Operation Bigs – a program that offers support to children of military families through one-to-one mentoring.
