The Riboli family of San Antonio Winery recently collaborated with Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles to grant the wish of 17-year-old Madelyn, who suffers from a rare, life-threatening blood disorder. Madelyn and her family, who live in Long Beach, were given the opportunity to take a Mediterranean cruise this summer and take Europe by storm. Madelyn’s mom expressed her heartfelt appreciation saying, “Thank you to all the wonderful people involved in making this happen. This truly was the best thing that has happened to Madelyn!”

“Make-A-Wish would not be able to achieve our mission without the generous support of donors like the Riboli Family of San Antonio Winery,” said Marc Sawyer, Development Director, Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles.  “We so appreciate the passion, warmth and community-spirit that they display with every aspect of their business.”

The Riboli family made the generous donation in celebration of Stella Rosa’s 15th birthday. Stella Rosa was created by the Riboli family 15 years ago to meet a growing demand by its customers who visited their 101-year-old original location of San Antonio Winery in Los Angeles. Crafted in Italy, Stella Rosa has grown to become the leading imported Italian wine in the country.

Fittingly, Sawyer said Madelyn’s favorite part of the Mediterranean cruise was Italy. “We are so happy to hear Madelyn and her family had such a wonderful and memorable time in Italy,” said Steve Riboli, vice president of Riboli Family Wines. “We are honored to partner with such a reputable organization as Make-A-Wish and look forward to partnering with them again in the future.”
