Chef Gilberto Cetina and Katharine A. Diaz are proud to announce that their first collaboration, Sabores Yucatecos: A Culinary Tour of the Yucatan (WPR Books: Comida, 2012; hardcover; 192 pages; $27.95), took the first place award for Best Cookbook in Latino Literacy Now’s 2013 International Latino Book Awards.
The award was announced on May 30 at the Instituto Cervantes in New York City and coincided with Book Expo America. Sabores Yucatecos: A Culinary Tour of the Yucatan also took second place in the Best Use of Photos Inside the Book category.
