Slapfish in Huntington Beach Hosting Holiday Toy Drive to Benefit Kids in Need

Slapfish Flagship Location In Huntington Beach, CA

In a year that has been economically challenging for many people, Slapfish in Huntington Beach continues to give back to the community by partnering with Save The Brave to host their Annual Toy Drive at the restaurant’s flagship location. Anyone who brings in a new, unwrapped toy for children ages 1 to 12 will receive a free street taco from Slapfish at the flagship location in Surf City. Donations will be collected until Monday, December 21.

Save The Brave will donate the toys to local children in need. A Southern California-based non-profit organization, Save The Brave provides stress management and other support to veterans recovering from PTSD.

“As a small business owner who personally knows dozens of people who have fallen on hard times this year, I want to do what I can to support others in need,” said Slapfish owner Andrew Gruel. “No child should be without a Christmas gift, so we want to do our part in giving as many kids as possible a happy holiday.”

Since the Coronavirus outbreak started, Slapfish in Huntington Beach has extended its Kids Eat Free promotion to seven days a week, provided free lunch to 90 teachers in Huntington Beach, has offered a free meal to people who have lost their job, and recently raised $2,000 for Save The Brave and the valuable services they provide to Veterans.

Slapfish is a fast-casual restaurant offering a chef-driven menu of fresh, high quality and sustainable seafood. The restaurant is located at 19696 Beach Blvd., in Huntington Beach. For more information, visit www.slapfishrestaurant.com.
