In its third year hosting the noted “Sunday in the Vineyard” wine tasting event, the Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar raised $47,500 for the Marconi Foundation for Kids and the Child Guidance Center. During the most successful fundraiser to date, more than 150 guests enjoyed a wine tasting with more than 100 wines, many of which are considered unique and rare finds from boutique wineries spanning the globe, including “The Prisoner” Red Blend, BR Cohn, Groth, Levendi, Etude, Argyle Nuthouse, Justin, Rubicon Cask, Stags Leap, Darioush, Shafer, Opus, Kamen, Mirror, and Bollinger.

A live cooking station with the Winery’s Executive Chef and Partner, Yvon Goetz, was complemented by exciting live and silent auctions. Among the items featured for the live auction was a two-night Weekend Wine Country Excursion with private estate tour and VIP tasting for up to four guests.

“Our third year hosting Sunday in the Vineyard’ has proven to be the most successful, raising more than $123,000 to date for worthy organizations in our community,” commented JC Clow, Managing Partner at The Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar. “We are delighted to have formed a long-term partnership that will support the efforts of the Marconi Foundation for Kids, a nonprofit that is intent on making a difference in the lives of so many throughout Orange County.”
