100 Tyson Foods volunteers help moved items from the existing EOA’s (Economic Opportunity Agency) Children’s Home on Razorback Road in Fayetteville to their new location in Springdale, Arkanasas. The new facility will enable to increase their service capacity by 328 percent and will allow them to serve up to 72 children. Providing nourishing meals is an essential function at the EOA’s Children’s House, and the children really appreciate the gesture since they know someone is taking time to prepare a meal for them. Tyson Foods, Inc. has donated $100,000 to the capital building plan and more than $22,000 to completely furbish the kitchen, dining room and kitchen office for the new facility.

“Children’s House is playing an important role in the lives of children in need and we’re pleased to provide financial and volunteer support to help the organization prepare for its new home,” said Nick Tyler, senior vice president and general manager of Tyson Food Service Distribution Sales.
