Let’s say you’re having a dinner party and your guest list of 400 includes such notables as Warren Buffett, Arianna Huffington, Rosie O’Donnell, comedienne Chelsea Handler and singer Rosanne Cash. What to serve? Well, that very real dilemma rests squarely on the shoulders of one of the OC’s best-loved and most influential chefs, Zov. The owner of 3 critically acclaimed restaurants (with 2 more on the way) bearing her name and author of 2 best-selling cookbooks has been tapped as one of eight chefs who will prepare dinner for FORTUNE Magazine’s Most Powerful Women Summit, an invite-only forum to be held in Dana Point, CA on Tuesday, Oct 4 featuring the most prominent women leaders in business, philanthropy, government, education, and the arts.
After spending the day discussing heady matters like rising from recession, doing business without borders, redefining leadership and careers, and discovering the next “big thing” on the horizon, Zov will help change the pace and flavor of the day by serving some of the cuisine that has made her a nationally recognized chef. Her answer to the dilemma? Roast rack of lamb with pomegranate sauce and potato cauliflower gratin with Gruyere cheese.
“This is an opportunity of a lifetime to meet and serve some of the most powerful women in the world,” said Zov. “I am up for the task and look forward to the opportunity.”
