Conventional wisdom tells us the credit crisis is over. But for some sectors, like the restaurant industry, financing is still difficult to find for those serving everything from tacos to flatbread pizza.
One publication that covers the restaurant industry, specifically the finance side of the business, will hold its annual event to help solve the dilemma for multi-unit restaurant owners.
The Restaurant Finance Monitor’s annual Restaurant Finance & Development Conference will be held November 2014 at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas: Top multi-unit restaurant owners and executives from around the country attend the conference each year to meet with lenders, investors and developers to secure financing for new unit development, refinance existing debt or find equity for growth. For many in the industry, it’s become their deal-making event of the year-a go-to source for networking.
“Financing is still hard to find in the restaurant business. The conference is an excellent venue for growing restaurant chains to find financing, buy or sell restaurant businesses and real estate or locate new business opportunities,” said John Hamburger, publisher of the Restaurant Finance Monitor.
Beyond the excellent networking, attendees will hear from the financial and economic experts in the business. They will gain key financial, economic and operating insights by attending the conference’s expert educational sessions.
Conference speakers include top restaurant CEOs and CFOs such as:
- Nigel Travis, Dunkin Brands (DNKN);
- Tim Taft, Fiesta Restaurant Group (FRGI);
- John Miller, Denny’s Corporation (DENN);
- Steve Vaughn, Sonic (SONC);
- Christi Hing, Kona Grill (KONA) and
- Arne Haak, Ruth’s Hospitality Group (RUTH).
And, to inspire our culinary imagination, leading chefs and owners of some of the fastest growing chains in the country will tell attendees what ignites them to create new and innovative concepts. Chefs include:
- Alfred Portale-Gotham Grill;
- Richard Sandoval-Ambar, Bahia, Masa 14; and
- Jeff Mahin-Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises.
Up-and-coming restaurant chain speakers are:
- Anthony Ackil-b.good;
- Rodney Eckerman-Pizza Rev; and
- Jim Mizes-Blaze Pizza.
The conference keynote luncheon speaker will be comedian and radio talk show host Dennis Miller.
