What do Pan-seared Foie Gras, Lobster Spaghettini and Chateaubriand for Two have in common? They’re just a few of the new items that The Bungalow has included on their new dinner menu. The restaurant, a neighborhood institution in Corona del Mar known for its menu of steaks, chops and fresh seafood entrees, oversized martinis and an extensive wine list, has introduced two dozen new dishes to its menu, which is now available to guests seven days a week after 4pm.

The Bungalow’s Executive Chef Alfonso Pineda, who has been with the restaurant for twenty years, designed the new menu, securing the consulting services of friend and Food Network Celebrity Chef Rahm Fama for insights on updating classics and making dish presentations more contemporary. “We felt that this would be the perfect time to add some exciting new items to our menu and update some classics,” said Jim Walker and Louie Feinstein jointly, co-owners of The Bungalow. “Our regular guests’ palates are always evolving and we felt that including some items on trend right now would appeal to potential new guests as well.“
A local favorite for 20 years, The Bungalow’s shingle façade, striking awnings and Arts and Crafts font displaying the restaurant’s name gives the feel of dining in a charming Craftsman retreat. The menu specializes in specialty steaks, fresh seafood, and handcrafted cocktails. The restaurant also boasts a 160-label wine cellar featuring premium vintages.
