Descanso Announces New Menu Specials, Margarita Day

Descanso in Costa Mesa has launched a slew of new menu items and specials. Only three months after opening, the self-described “modern taqueria” is showing an early willingness to accept feedback and cater to what their customers want.

“As we strive to produce the best dining experience for our customers, we are always looking to improve and update what we offer,” they said in a recent statement.

Those customers can also look forward to February 22, aka National Margarita Day. To celebrate, Descanso will be offering their specialty margaritas for 50 percent off during lunch hours.

New highlights on the menu include the Torta Ahogada (see image above), Salmon Avocado Toast, and five new cocktails incorporating everything from blood orange honey to agave.

    Choice of Protein (Steak, Shrimp, Al Pastor, Carnitas, Pollo or Vegetables), Refried Pinto Beans, Guacamole, Tres Quesos, French Fries and Salsa Frita.
