El Pollo Loco, the nation’s leading fire-grilled chicken chain, today announced a new line of Overstuffed Quesadillas available for a limited time. The new Overstuffed Quesadillas are prepared fresh with flavorful ingredients for the ultimate cheesy treat.

“We’re continually testing new items that bring a creative twist to our menu of signature chicken and authentic Mexican favorites,” said Ed Valle, Chief Marketing Officer at El Pollo Loco. “For this line, we’ve added some fun and unique ingredients like pickled jalapenos, caramelized onions and bacon.  These flavors complement our fire-grilled chicken and melted cheese for a perfectly stuffed quesadilla. With different flavors and textures all packed into a folded tortilla, our quesadillas are a great meal for those on the go.”

The new line of Overstuffed Quesadillas includes the following:

  • Chicken Cheddar Bacon:  Fire-grilled chicken, bacon, caramelized onions, smoked cheddar, pico
  • Southwest Chicken Avocado: Fire-grilled chicken, avocado, sour cream, corn, bacon, black beans, cheese, pico
  • Chicken Nacho: Fire-grilled chicken, guacamole, sour cream, pickled jalapenos, tostada shell, pico, cheese, beans
  • Chicken Fajita Avocado: Fire-grilled chicken, avocado, fajita vegetables, cheese, poblano salsa, cilantro
