October is National Vegetarian Month, and SAJJ Mediterranean celebrated with the launch of a plant-based protein option: the Impossible Kabob.
The new item, produced by plant-based leader Impossible Foods, is made with wheat and potato proteins, soy, coconut oil, and heme, Impossible Foods’ signature ingredient that gives their products the flavor of traditional beef. The Impossible Kabob is marinated in SAJJ’s signature blend of spices and sauces, and can be added to any sajj wrap, pita bread sandwich, turmeric rice bowl, or salad entree.
SAJJ Mediterranean is located in Rancho Santa Margarita at 22245 El Paseo, and will open in Irvine in November.
