River North Business Association Announces Sixth Annual OctoberFeastâ„¢in River North, October 7
The River North Business Association is pulling out all the stops, restaurant stops that is, for the sixth annual OctoberFeastâ„¢, presented by Motorola Mobility, LLC. OctoberFeastâ„¢, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, showcases 25-30 of Chicago’s most popular restaurants and venues in River North, allowing participants to experience the excellence and variety of one of the country’s most vibrant restaurant districts.
Blackfinn Ameripub, Farmhouse, Fogo de Chao, Hooters, John Barleycorn River North, Kinzie Chophouse, Maxwell’s at the Club, McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood & Steaks, Moe’s Cantina, Pranzi, The Redhead Piano Bar, Rev Burger, Seasons52, Sullivan’s Steakhouse, and Troquet River North have already signed on to participate. Interested restaurants should contact Liz Schulze at the River North Business Association at 312-645-1047 if they’d like to participate. Membership in the association is required for participation.
How it works.
OctoberFeastâ„¢ is a progressive tasting tour, leading groups of 50 or less to visit five of the participating vimeo graphicand fabulous restaurants in the River North neighborhood. There are 25-30 venues celebrating OctoberFeastâ„¢, with five different routes for participants to explore. Each restaurant provides specialty food and drinks for participants to enjoy. The evening will begin with registration at Maggiano’s (111 W. Grand Ave.) where participants will receive a map and schedule to guide them throughout the evening. Each group will spend 20 minutes at each venue. The evening will close with an after party at SHAY (222 W. Ontario St.).
