Strip House Bones: Great Gifts for Discriminating Dogs (and their devoted humans)
~Portion of sale to benefit West Orange Animal Welfare League
Why shouldn’t the dogs of NJ (and beyond) enjoy a taste of Strip House at Westminster Hotel, the landmark steakhouse on West Mount Pleasant Avenue in Livingston? Just in time for holiday shopping, the restaurant is offering festively packaged, oven-roasted beef bones that make perfect presents for beloved dogs.
Best of all, a portion of the $6 cost will be donated to the West Orange Animal Welfare League, a 501 (c)(3) all-volunteer organization that helps find forever homes for stray and abandoned animals across Essex County. Volunteers work hard to help reduce the number of healthy animals euthanized every year.
The bones — each wrapped in kitchen paper and plastic and tied with a red ribbon — are available year-round for pickup at the restaurant. During the busy holiday season, it’s best to call ahead and reserve.
