I-10 Hospitality Teams with No Kid Hungry

Louisiana based I-10 Hospitality, a restaurant, hotel and gaming management company announces a partnership with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign to end childhood hunger in America by ensuring all children get the healthy food they need, every day. The campaign helps connect kids in need with effective nutrition programs like school breakfast and summer meals and teaches low-income families to cook healthy, affordable meals through Cooking Matters.

I-10 Hospitality will be developing and operating Quaker Steak & Lube restaurants in the Beaumont, Lake Charles, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Gulfport/Biloxi, and Mobile/Pensacola/Fort Walton areas. All of these restaurants, plus any others owned or operated by I-10 Hospitality, will donate 10% of their opening week’s revenue and 1% of their total revenue on an ongoing basis to No Kid Hungry to help end childhood hunger. Share Our Strength will use half of the money donated by I-10 Hospitality to support No Kid Hungry activities in the states that have an I-10 Hospitality owned or operated Quaker Steak & Lube location, and the remaining funds to help children struggling with hunger in other areas of the United States.

I-10 Hospitality’s first restaurant location is scheduled to open in the spring of 2014 in Sulphur, LA.
