Chef Eric Greenspan, Jim Hustead and Jay Perrin have come together to form The Foundation Hospitality Group. The Foundation Hospitality Group will be responsible for the growth and enrichment of The Foundry on Melrose, as well the expansion into multiple restaurant, hotel and hospitality opportunities (including their new project at the soon to open Hotel Wilshire), and open new quick serve concepts (such as Greenspan’s Grilled Cheese).
Chef Greenspan, co-host of the upcoming A&E show ‘Fix This Kitchen” and Iron Chef America winner, worked with Mr. Perrin at the original Patina restaurant in Hancock Park. Jay brings over 25 years of restaurant experience (as an operator, owner and sommelier) to Chef Greenspans partnership with Jim Hustead, who has grown and operated multiple national restaurant chains and chef-driven restaurants, and in addition, is a partner in OnSite Consulting and Entropy Collective. The three have enjoyed a personal friendship for over 10 years and look forward to this professional collaboration. Greenspan says “Jay and I have talked about this for almost ten years and me and Jim are blessed to expand our family. I’m excited for the future!”
