Steven Layt has been announced as Applebee Services Inc.'s new senior vice president of operations. With a 23-year background in franchise coaching and executive operations for companies such as Buffet Holdings, Inc and Pizza Hut, Layt's new position with Applebee's comes just in time to help them restructure a company-wide revitalization, from menu changes to building construction plans, says Applebee's President, Mike Archer. Reporting directly to Archer, Layt's arrival at Applebee's brings fresh ideas to company branding with a solid background of experience.
