Super excited to let you know that Bayside Restaurant in Newport Beach is not only opening for takeout and 50% off select bottles of wine, starting Friday but is also putting on DRIVE-IN CONCERTS with special performances by local musicians, including by Ron Kobayashi & The Parking Lot Trio Friday and Saturday afternoons, featuring legendary OC sac player Jerry Mandel (appropriately distanced, of course)!
The stage is set, literally, and this will be a great photo or video content opportunity – some fun and levity amongst the stress and uncertainty.
Bayside is taking advantage of its massive parking lot to put on its drive-in (or drive-through) concert for anyone who comes to pick up their food at the restaurant. Either enjoy while popping in and out, or enjoy your food from the car, just like a drive-in movie showing. Marc Ghoukassian and staff are excited to be heading back to the restaurant, but Marc is also especially excited about helping support the musicians that have graced the Bayside lounge throughout the years. These talented artists deserve our support too! Because dining can truly be art, in all its forms.

Bayside asks that if people park to listen to the music, that they ensure their vehicles are appropriately spaced so everyone can enjoy the concert from a safe distance. The staff is also taking extra cleaning and safety precautions, always wearing masks and gloves, etc.
