Best Chefs America Receives Funding From Capital A Partners

Best Chefs America, publisher of the ultimate chef’s guide to chefs, is pleased to announce a venture capital investment from Capital A Partners. The partnership marks the launch of the Charleston/New York-based venture and private equity fund in South Carolina.

Released March 1, 2013, Best Chefs America is the first comprehensive peer review guide to chefs. The inaugural edition was the result of more than 5,000 confidential telephone interviews with chefs who were nominated by other chefs, culinary professionals and food enthusiasts across the country. The interviews consisted of a series of proprietary questions regarding chef talents, industry experience and other culinary topics. Chefs with the highest ratings were included in the 386-page guide. Best Chefs America is enhanced by photography showcasing emerging trends and ingredients identified throughout the inteviews and a foreword penned by Michael Ruhlman, one of the country’s most respected culinary journalists and authors.
